A couple of weeks ago after I had gotten the boys to bed, I was sitting at my computer trying to figure out how I could get my story and vision for what I was doing across. I felt like I needed to go a little deeper with explaining my point of view and why I thought I was someone who could help bridge the gap between pew and pastor.
My husband, Jason, was sitting across from me and threw out the idea that he could interview me. I didn’t even have to think twice. He knows me better than anyone so I said yes! Today I’m sharing Jason interviewing me, we dive into my experience as a preacher’s daughter, a wife in ministry, a mother and much more. I hope you enjoy listening as much as we enjoyed recording!
I loved this!! Your laugh hasn’t changed and it’s still one of my favorites!💓 It was great hearing about your mom cause she definitely is one of the best! So happy that through your 6 month experience in ministry helped bring you and Jason closer. I loved hearing how he fought for you and that it made you both stronger together. It’s so important in a young marriage and especially with being new parents to feel like your partner is there for you. I too struggled and struggle still sometimes with who I was as a woman, wife, and mother. It’s easy to lose yourself, especially when you marry as young as I did. I also have to wonder if our small town raising (which I loved) makes it harder for us to find where our “place” is sometimes? I’m not as good with words as you are but just wanted to say I’m so proud of you and I loved it. Great job Tommie.
Tommie D, this was just the very best podcast ever! Yes, I’m very prejudice when it comes to you, but at the same time I know quality and good when I hear it. I’m very proud of you and I love the heart felt honesty you and Jason gave to this interview! Thank you for sharing your hearts desire, I look forward to listening and learning from you! I love you the M! Gran
What a great listen! Love that you are starting something new and fresh! Can’t wait for more!
