My very first time being interviewed! And by my dad!
When we recorded this we got a chance to talk about why we thought this would be beneficial. I personally think sometimes pastors forget that their congregation may be too timid to ask them questions, and sometimes it’s because there is no space for them to do so and feel safe while doing it. We talk about how maybe by creating this space it not only helps people in the pews but maybe ministers and pastors as well realize that we all have questions, and none of them are dumb.
Great job Tommie (and Todd)! You’re creating a much needed space where we can be genuine and ask those question that keep us up at night. Maybe not answer them all, but certainly ponder them. We look forward to hearing more! Generic and trendy…love it!
Thanks for always being encouraging Alex! Looking forward to sharing more soon!
What a great concept, Tommie! It’s so true that often people (myself certainly included) that have questions after sermons, or after quiet times, etc, that we are intimidated to ask for fear of feeling uneducated or ridiculous. I cannot wait to listen and hear some new perspectives and ideas on some of those things! Congratulations on taking such a big step and I wish only the best to you in this endeavor. 🙂
Thanks Andi! It’s been exciting for sure!
You really shouldn’t leave the door open to folks like me.
Quite the contrary! I think the door should be opened wider, and I hope that I’ll be able to help make that happen!
